Monica Khemsurov

Monica Khemsurov is a Brooklyn-based freelance writer and co-founder of the online magazine and consultancy Sight Unseen, which recently launched the Noho Design District event during New York Design Week. After graduating from the Northwestern School of Journalism, she started her career at New York Magazine and eventually became senior editor of I.D. Magazine, where she traveled the globe scouting for intriguing stories about furniture, products, and emerging design talents. She continues to do so as contributing design editor for Details magazine and as a regular writer for T Style in The New York Times, Surface, W, Interior Design, and others.
