On September 23rd, Dale Dougherty, founder of Make: and Maker Faire,  visited the MFA Products of Design department to talk about "Making as Community Service" as part of its Fall 2015 Lecture Series. After an introduction by department chair Allan Chochinov, Dale offered an impassioned argument for the power of the making—and the power of individual makers and educators—to create ever-more purposeful work and consequence around people "just getting to it." Enjoy the video of his talk below, as well as some snapshots of the evening!
