We are thrilled to announce the addition of Pepin Gelardi and Theodore Ullrich to the faculty at MFA Products of Design. Together, they will be team teaching the Smart Objects course in the First Year Spring Semester.
About Pepin Gelardi
Pepin Gelardi is a Design Entrepreneur with a Masters in Industrial Design from Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milan, Italy, and a BSME at Columbia University, New York. Pepin leads product design strategy at Tomorrow Lab, articulating user insights, defining product benefits, inventing new features, and developing forms and interfaces.
Pepin began developing products for his family’s injection molding business over 15 years ago. Since then he has developed new products and brands at Procter & Gamble, Inch, Inc. and Fahrenheit 212. In his spare time, Pepin aspires to become a Pasta Scientist and creates site-specific art installations with his wife Teresa.
About Theodore Ullrich
Theodore Ullrich is the Founder of Tomorrow Lab, an internationally recognized product design and engineering studio based in New York City. Tomorrow Lab develops smart hardware products for a better tomorrow. Ted believes the combination of science and design can allow small startup teams to develop new technology products that solve big problems.
Ted holds a Masters of Industrial Design from Georgia Tech, a Bachelors of Inventive Design Engineering from Purdue University, and has taught design studio courses at Drexel University in Philadelphia, the Georgia Institute of Technology, and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design in Denmark.
