Iris Sprague

Iris Sprague is a Senior Product Designer at Google, where she leads the creation of user experiences and design systems for SAAS and B2B products. Since graduating from MICA's MFA Design program in 2015, Iris has consistently delivered top-tier designs in dynamic, fast-paced environments. She is a strong advocate for cross-departmental collaboration, emphasizing that the best products emerge from diverse perspectives and expertise.

Iris’s expertise spans UI/UX, communication, empathy-driven design, and product management, ensuring products resonate with users while meeting business objectives. Outside of her work at Google, Iris is an avid learner, continuously exploring new trends and techniques in design. Typography and lettering are particular passions, and she regularly hones these skills through personal projects. She also enjoys illustration, often drawing inspiration from her two beloved cats, Vanta and G.O.B.
