Adriana Valdez Young

Adriana is a design researcher, urbanist, and educator. She practices design research that focuses on centering the lived experiences of excluded and underrepresented communities. She works in the context of personal care, the built environment, and technology. Currently, she is a Senior Advisor at SOUR, an urban design and innovation studio co-located in Brooklyn and Istanbul. She is faculty and chair of MFA Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts.
