Open House Session One:
Product Design: Negotiating the Physical and the Digital

"Product Designer" now refers to both physical product design as well as digital product design. Join us as alumni, students, and faculty discuss the opportunities to work both physically and digitally in the emergent fields of product design, as well as the primacy of the prototype and effective strategies for working with information as a material.
Open House Session Two:
Design for Social Value: Navigating Business and Justice
Wednesday, December 9th, 2020—from 7-9pm EST
The second in our Open House series takes on Design for Social Value: Navigating Business and Justice, featuring an all-star Student Showcase of MFA PoD current students and alumni, followed by a Student and Faculty Panel discussion on the convergence and challenges around social justice, equity, business, and power.

The Actualized Designer: Between the Personal and the Professional
Monday, January 11th, 2020—from 7-9pm EST
The third in our Open House series takes on The Actualized Designer: Between the Personal and the Professional, featuring an all-star Student Showcase of MFA PoD current students and alumni, followed by a Student & Faculty Panel discussion on the convergence and challenges around life as a designer, entrepreneurship, freelancing, working in-house, consulting, crowdfunding, art-making, and activism.
