Guest Lecture Video: Souvik Paul
On November 21, 2023, MFA Products of Design was thrilled to host a guest lecture by designer, entrepreneur, and alum Souvik Paul (Class of 2016).
In his talk, Souvik shared an unabashed look into his journey—the highs and the lows—of developing his thesis project (a reusable catheter and sterilization device) into a real product, through $11 million dollars in funding, multiple partners, and navigating the regulatory pathway through FDA market clearance.
Souvik Paul is an award-winning industrial designer / design strategist who is the founder and CEO of Aurie, a medical device seed-stage start-up focused on reducing intermittent catheter-associated urinary tract infections.
