Sam Potts

Sam Potts is a graphic designer working in both print and digital. Since beginning independent operation in 2002, he has created identities, websites, books, packaging, signage, and editorial illustration across the publishing, philanthropy, and hospitality industries. From 2004 to 2009, Sam was the design director (non-staff and entirely pro bono) of the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. and its alter ego, the tutoring center 826NYC. Sam has taught graphic design at the School of Visual Arts, Cooper Union, and Art Center College of Design and his work has been published in The New York Times, Wired, Print, Creative Review (UK), and STEP Inside Design, as well as in several critical design anthologies.
